Submitting events to ePOSHTA

ePOSHTA is happy to promote your event in our newsletter. In most cases we just need the basic event information and we'll do the layout ourselves. You can also send graphics or images to add "punch" to your announcement. Or you can send an event "poster" with all the information in the format you want. Technical specifications for graphics, images and "posters" are listed below.

Send your event announcements to: events@eposhta.com

Guidelines:

  • Announcements can be in English and/or Ukrainian (Cyrillic text).
  • Do not use all uppercase in organization names or event titles.
  • Make the event title "catchy" but brief.
  • People are more likely to read your event if you keep it simple and to the point.

1) Provide the basic event information (not all items may be applicable to your event):

  • sponsoring group <--do not use all caps
  • event title <--do not use all caps
  • day, date, time
  • street address
  • building
  • city, province/state
  • short description of event
  • ticket prices if applicable
  • contact information <--phone numbers (with area code),
names, emails, and website if available

2) Add an graphic or image

Adding a graphic or image enhances the impact of your announcement.

  • JPG, GIF or TIF format
  • resolution: 100-300 dpi
  • max. 600 pixels wide. If you submit a larger image, we will reduce it to this size.

Already have an event "poster"?

If you already have an event poster that contains all the event information, send it to us. Make sure that it meets the following specifications:

  • JPG, GIF, TIF, Word, or PDF format
  • resolution: 100-300 dpi
  • max. 600 pixels wide. If you submit a larger image, we will reduce it to this size.
If you use small fonts, they may not be readable when the image is reduced to meet our specifications.

ePOSHTA reserves the right to charge a fee for events featuring businesses, "professional" groups (choirs, dance groups, etc.) or certain job opportunity listings. We will contact you before we run the announcement
